Green Hairstreaks....

in abundance in the woods this morning, together with Cuckoos, Crossbills, Crested Tits, Woodpeckers, a Golden Ringed Dragonfly, a weird couple of beetles, but no Pine Hoverfly, which is what I was looking for. However, the Rowans were not out in this wood so it is probably too soon.
