Putting in the dock!

A wonderful sign of spring here at Big Hill.....putting the dock into the pond!  No easy feat that's for sure, it is very heavy and Terry and Richard needed to maneuver it and nudge it along, using the truck!!!   Finally, after much huffing, puffin' and pushing (i helped at that point!) it was launched!  See extra!

Richard actually took his first plunge, but i wasn't there to capture it as i usually do at the beginning of each spring season.  I'll just have to get him to do it again in a day or two...we're expecting a lot of rain for the next few days!  

I feel like i did pretty well in the painting studio today....boy it is tiring tho! I don't know how some artists spend 8-10 hours a day ..... it's exhausting!  anyhow, that's all i can do for a few days....the kiln needs to be fired in a day or 2!!!

Off for fish and chips for dinner down at Englishtown!!!
