Rocks

After an intense 2 or 3 days in the glaze room, i felt like i needed a morning off.....so into Baddeck, dropped Richard off so he could do some of his own stuff.   Got myself a breakfast sandwich and coffee at Timmy's drive thro, and just kept on driving....it was very rainy and miserable out so just being in the truck was a pleasure.  listening to CBC, munching on my breakfast and coffee....and i found myself investigating some back roads i wasn't familiar with.   Found this area with all these large slabs of rock.....very satisfying.

After supper this evening, Terry and i took a peak at the kiln .... lots more tests being done and it looks like some good results!  will wait till tomorrow cos the kiln is still at about 400 degrees and too hot to unload!
