LD 68. We paid a visit.

We three paid a short visit to see these two today; older son and his fiancé (live 15-20 mins away). Nice to be together again as a family. We’re grateful for the slight relaxation in Lockdown in Phase 1 Route Map. Strange to drive past where we’ve walked for so many days now - really only driven (very locally) a few times since 23 March 2020.

We’d an active morning beforehand. We spread some of the gravel delivered recently. Our younger son had two barrows on the go at one point. He’s fit and has a good work ethic. My wife did a lot of the preparation and I the raking. The borders and hard landscaping look nice and fresh now. We’ve more to do, but another job remains unfinished.

Flowers we sent to our friend who’s just started shielding for the foreseeable future arrived. And were well received. That’s good.
