As far as the eye can see...

Big Sis and I went for a walk this afternoon, taking a similar route to our walk last Sunday. It’s really difficult to capture these fields, which are now covered with daisies and the occasional poppy or cornflowers. It was fantastic on yet another glorious day.

D has been in the garden all day, digging trenches to fill with our own compost and planting more beans. The dahlias are beginning to shoot nicely and many will soon be going to new homes. The patio pots are sadly coming to an end and their spring flowers will need to make way for summer blooms. They’ve been amazing.

And always time for some reading in the garden.....
