Baby Swallow

Charmaine received a phone call from Ronnie from school very early one morning this past week, to fetch a little bird! A school boy brought a baby swallow to school, he rescued it at home and he knows 'Mr James and his wife' always nurse foundlings 'back to life'! ;-)

Well, this cutie is something special! The first day she tried her best to press her little head right down to her blankie, she literally became a 'flattie', in order to hide from us, but from day 2 she had much more confidence! She eats about 20 meal worms per day, sooo cute! She makes quite a noise when she's hungry, and is really chirpie right through the day!
