There's a furriner coin amongst the regular UK ones. The thing I'd never noticed before is that US coins have a different rotational axis: in the UK if you rotate a coin around it's vertical axis the face and tail are the same way up. For the US the axis is the horizontal one.

I occasionally browse 1x; some of the photographs are very very good (along with some stuff that I just can't get on with). One of the photographers that seems to divide opinion most is Jan Møller Hansen because of the highly emotive nature of his shots. Documentary style, dealing with (amongst other things) poverty and the results. You look at the photographs and are simultaneously amazed at the image, horrified by the story, guilty at the fact that such situations exist, depressed, the list goes on. It drop kicks a few things into perspective, really hard.

Go home, cuddle the kids, kiss the wife, love the family, appreciate what we have. Liberty.
