More Visitors

More fabulous weather. 
And more visitors. P&K! So, a barbecue was laid on - and the visitors, fully in compliance with slackening lockdown regulations, arrived with a couple of plates and their own cutlery! It seems this was at the insistence of their son, who takes such things very seriously. Though as I washed them afterwards before handing them back, I may have unwittingly spread the Granton covid onward.
Anyway, we had a fine time, much nattering, noshing and quaffing before they headed off with their (visibly) clean plates. And then we got it in the neck from our kiddiewinks - a photo we sent over to both sets came back with a comment.. 2m? 1.3m according to one of them. It was foreshortened in the photo, definitely. We had a tape measure at all times.
Later, a film, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, with Tom Hanks on top form as ever, and a really great performance from Matthew Rhys. Most enjoyable. And nicely strange, really.
