Foxglove

We went out for our walk on the moor earlier today to avoid the rush, but it was still quite busy out there.

Back home it was cuppa time and then some jobs in the garden, a bit of recorder practice and some triffid research.  A friend's husband thinks the triffids are teasels which would make sense as we only had a few in the mini meadow last year.  They are certainly getting very tall!  I should have plenty for a dried flower arrangement eventually.  Tony spotted two goldfinches eating the sorrel seeds in the meadow but I wasn't in time with my camera, good to know though!

There is a fabulous show of foxgloves against the allotment wall but a bit tricksy to blip.
