It's been so busy in the Lakes and the Dales this week that we chose to stay local.

I visited a neighbour today to view a trenching machine he kindly offered to lend me. I've operated a lot of plant over the years, grew up occasionally on a farm, learnt to drive a tractor, owned manufacturing machines with metre wide saws..... And I've never seen anything as lethal in all my days lol. When I asked how it handled random rocks A. told me "oh it fires them out like missiles, make sure you duck..." I'll be sticking with the hire a mini digger option.

More coursework done. Thanks for the feedback. I've requested a new tutor. Horrid, but justified. In the end I asked myself two questions?
If I was the tutor could I:
(a) look in the mirror and know I'd given the student my best me?
(b) look in the mirror and know I'd at least met the bare minimum of the syllabus?
As the answer was no to both it seemed like a new approach is necessary.
And yes, I also asked the college to check she's OK and see if she needs any support.
