Busy weekend

A few days ago the above enormous field looked just like this one, with row after row after row of neat stripes of cropped grass. 

I would have been surprised to see the field dotted with hundreds of black plastic bales so soon, but to see it completely cleared was amazing. Someone has worked very hard over the weekend!

Another scorcher today, with the forecast for much cooler weather for the second half of the week.
