Industrial Deadscape

This industrial area (light industry) is in the centre of the village; some parts of it are still in operation, but most of it is about to be developed and has been so for a couple of years.  The parts that are still operating have little idea of when they will have to stop, and the larger area is a blight.

So that's what this photo is about, taken during my exciting circumnavigation of the village centre.  I had to hold the camera above my head to remain clear of the chain-link fence, which mean that the barbed wire became visible, adding a certain sense of foreboding to the shot.

I think so, anyway.
