CV Measures #74
Wey and Aran Canal
Bored with sitting at home Mr U&L and I went for a walk along the Wey and Arun canal at Loxwood late this afternoon.
It was glorious with huge numbers of dragonflies flying and the views with the Hemlock water dropwort frothing along the canal side were wonderful.
This is the first lock, we walked from the pub car park to the second stone bridge, passing another stone bridge and two locks along the way.As you can see the water was like glass and at points you could see shoals of baby fish feeding just below the surface.
I have added a shot of a Scarce chaser dragonfly and a female Banded demoiselle in my extras.
Grateful today for 7,475 wonderful steps walked!
