Like a mirror....

The pond in a local park area was so still this evening and looking into it the reflections were perfect.

I went for a walk with a friend who’s been self isolating for 10 weeks. Her husband has a shielding letter and she’s been staying at home with him. She was very anxious about leaving the house again. She was very willing to accept my offer of a walk this evening, excited even when I called for her, which was great.

We had our first socially distanced coffee with four other friends in a garden with side access. We poured our own coffee from pots on a separate table and sat at tables in our pairs. Strange and formal and just a short time but good to see each other for real.
