Pedestrians this way....

This rusty gate caught my eye this afternoon. It doesn’t look as if it is often opened, there also being a large open drive to the house. Ok, that’s for the cars and this for the people, so obviously now just for show or garden furniture. Now to confess, we had the same until we removed it...

I’d actually gone out to our local shops for flowers to take to Little Sis tomorrow. I got all the way there then realised I’d forgotten my mask. No pockets and no bag so no mask. Surely second nature by now. So I took a walk instead.

Earlier I had been baking ready for some visitors later this week. It made for a very hot kitchen.

We’ll get the flowers in the morning.
