Friend visit

My joints were very sore last night so I decided not to go for a run this morning and let them rest. My joints tend to ache when the weather gets very warm. I had loads of marking to do and spent the entire day (of a very sunny day) indoors.  
Penny’s friend Megan came round in the afternoon and they sat in the front garden. They haven’t seen each other for 3 months. It was good that Penny got some company and got her off the sofa for a while. She’s still quite sore.  
Around 8.30pm, Beth from next door knocked on our door with a young boy who had crashed into our car on his bike. He’s left a big mark. Later on, he popped back with his mother. I was up until really late marking.
