Tooty Fruity Juicy Beauty

Enjoyed playing with reflections on Photoshop, not because it's a rainy day - far from it! - but it's actually too hot to be outside for long at any one time. Saving our walk for the cool of the evening.

The weather forecast predicts cooler temperatures and possibly, even, some rain. Certainly our gardens would love that and the farmers would be pleased, too. It's so dry.

Yesterday, when we were socialising with the neighbours within legal limits, I learned that 'my' tame robin is also pretty tame in my neighbours' gardens, too. Though it's only my hand he's fed from! Good to know he will be looked after if and when we're able to travel again.

Ooh, soon be time to eat this fruit. Now then what shall I have with it ... yoghurt, ice-cream &/or squirty cream? Which shall it be?

Random thought came into my head as I looked at the date: it's my maternal grandparents' wedding anniversary - but I've forgotten the year. Certainly in the second decade of the twentieth century. This morning I switched on the TV at 8am (something I very, very rarely do) and saw a couple celebrating their 80th anniversary, hand in hand - so they married in 1940, one year before my late parents wed. Wonderful!
