Iris in the Pond

Sunlight moves on and off our pond during the morning. I caught the sunlight on this iris, rather chiaroscuro.

Basil and I went for a ramble in Jubilee Wood and the Outwoods this afternoon. Lovely and cool while it's hot outside.

RPS talk at 6 pm and camera club contest at 7.30 pm. Why are Tuesdays always so 'busy?'

Year 6 were out on the school field today. I expect the little ones were kept in the playground nearer the school building.

And what is it with the girls wearing uniform sweatshirts and skirts? Are gingham dresses too babyish now?
