Sheltering Swans

Perhaps even swans choose to rest in cool shade on a hot afternoon. Seen on our circuit of Dishley Pool. 

The swans seem to have increased in number since our last visit. I think many of them have returned from where they went to. Perhaps they couldn't find anywhere suitable to set up home.

No sign of the swanographer. Presumably he was busy filming the Stonebow cygnets.

We stopped at The Old Curosity Bookshop on our way home for a welcome cup of tea.

Tonight's chicken and broccoli traybake was not really successful. I followed the timings in the recipe and should have relied on my judgement.
