Buttercups

Oh dear! We went for a short walk which ended up as six miles! However, it was beautiful as there was a great mix of open farmland and woods. This spread of buttercups appeared on one side of the path we were walking on as it wound it’s way through the Warren, above what is known as Dovedale, at Blockley in Gloucestershire which is only a few miles from where we live. Blockley is a lovely Cotswold village with many nice walks in the area. The church here has some of the Churchill family buried in it’s churchyard and is also used in the Father Brown television series.
