Tuesday: Peaceful

It took Barney some time to get back to his normal self.  He was very subdued this morning and preferred to be under the bed, from where he just stared at us wide-eyed every time we checked on him.  We’ve given him some painkillers and he’s picked up a fair bit - the telling point came when he stuck his head in K’s slipper which, for some reason, he likes to do.

We decided to treat ourselves to a take-out tonight.  Chinese.

The pictures coming out of the US are really something.  It’s not surprising - enough really is enough.
