Monday: Bemused

We recently took Barney to the vet for his annual vaccinations.  While he was there he had a check up and they discovered a dental condition which is actually quite rare. 

In essence, he has an excess of vitamin D, which was affecting his teeth.  His canines were particularly badly affected and the vet felt that he was probably in quite a lot of pain. In short he needed to have some teeth removed.  

We dropped him off this morning and picked him up this afternoon with 4 teeth less. The vet said it was the biggest surgery they had done this year.

Although it looks like it here, he didn’t really want to go out. We hope it’s not too long before he’s back to his usual self.  He’s definitely a bit other.....

On another note, yesterday we should have been heading off on a two week holiday with P & J but that’s obviously all cancelled.
