Poppy

This poppy bloom arrived yesterday, today the petals have unfurled beautifully and it looked glorious next To the the daisies. A wind has arrived in the garden today and so I suspect that it won’t last very long. There are three more buds coming which is great :)
Izzy and Tilly have come today and will stay until early evening when we will deliver them home. They have the playmobile people out and have created a magical game with dragons and unicorns in the living room.
The ice cream van is back in town, which the children gleefully told us about, so we popped down there for some Mr Whippy cones this afternoon. The children also discovered that their seeds which were planted about ten days ago have germinated and so they were out watering those soon after arrival. They can’t plant seeds at home because their flock of hens come along and devour the new plants. We are thankful we do not have hens. ;)

Our thoughts are with the people who are suffering in the US and hope that calm can be restored without further looting, damage and violence.
