Aha!

I finally found a colorful bird!

Please tell me this isn't cheating. Of course a live one would be better but I'm pretty sure there isn't anything more colorful than a blue jay in the Pacific Northwest or if there is, it's not in my yard. One of these days I'm going to buy a bird book and go on a hunt. I will find a colorful bird someday and I can only hope I have the presence of mind to take a picture of it.
