From The Safety Of The Next Field
As today looked like it would be the last sunny day for a while, I decided to claim back some of the time from working all the extra Friday mornings that I have done since working at home.
Eldest and I decided to go for a walk at lunchtime to make the most of the sunshine. We walked past the church and up over the bridge up the hill. At the top of the hill the field was full of these beautiful cows. We didn’t fancy having to push our way through them, but luckily spotted an alternate gate to climb over so we could admire them from the safety of the next field.
This evening I went up to the yard to ride. I rode in the school and China was really good, even when we were joined by A and the lovely Monty. In the past China has not been great with other horses in the arena and will try to nap towards them and have a tantrum if not allowed. He had a half hearted attempt this evening but after a quick telling off he was as good as gold for the rest of the ride.
