Banished

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

An email came out today confirming that we won’t be back in the office until next year.

It was completely expected but oddly still surprising. Next year seems very far away.

I messaged The Boss: “Did you arrange for this email to be sent to stop me coming back?”

The Boss: “Yeah, we’re all in the office”

Me: “I knew it. I can’t believe I fell for that old global pandemic line.”

The Boss: “I’m can’t lie; the organising has been tricky at times, but definitely worth it”

He’s going to be waiting a while before I get round to filling out my ‘professional goals’ on the system!
