The Things They Carried...

Motorbikes are everywhere (10 million in Saigon alone!) and everyone rides them - young, old, rich, poor... If Bill Cunningham did one of his NYTimes videos on motorbikes, he'd have so much commentary on the face masks worn (reigning favorites: classic doctor blue and pink and white polka dot) but mostly on the things they carried (thanks, Tim O'Brien) - our faves:

Kumquat trees, pigs (yes, really, in barrels), crates of Pepsi bottles, a Xerox machine, a rooster, a newborn, laundry, eggs (how do they not break?), furniture, a family of four...

Now I definitely want a Vespa!
