Signs of spring

Walking through the grounds of St George's Hospital in. #Toots earlier I thought there was a lost button nestling in one of the flower beds. On closer inspection it was this little beauty. Some type of Alpine I think & the first splash of floral colour to remind me that winter does end and Spring does replace it : )
