At Nanny, a learning curve
Basil and I went to Nanpantan Reservoir to find out how the grebes are doing on their nest and because my right foot really hurts from my tearing the skin while trying to remove a corn at the start of lockdown, it's a short walk.
The Grebe's nest appears to have been undamaged by the rain, which is very good news. Daddy was sitting on the eggs and protested volubly while I stood on the bridge over him. We didn't linger long.
But today's photo has been influenced by a Zoom talk I watched yesterday featuring Robert Friel, who earned his ARPS by taking sequences of photos from a camera phone on the way to work. Multiple exposure, ICM, it's all there.
Very helpfully, he recommended several apps, including Snapseed which I already use. Today's photo has been taken using a long exposure app then modified in Snapseed. It's a view of the reservoir.
Lots of fishermen with their tents. Perhaps there's a competition on this weekend.
