Meteorological pick and mix

A meteorological pick and mix, sums up today’s weather, not unlike some of the days when we were camper vanning around Iceland in late May last year . 
Heavy rain / light rain , black cloud / white cloud , hot / finger biting cold , windy / still and then ...... a heavy downpour of hailstones just as we were on the last leg of our walk.  Little Arthur loves feeling the weather on his face and when the wind tugs his hair he laughs. He wasn’t so sure about the hail though   and buried his face in his mother’s coat . 
Little has been achieved today , 2 dog walks plus a little reading and I got up extra early to get more out of the day !
I took the photo because I liked the way that the white cloud arched across the sky , before very long it had turned dark grey and we were caught in a downpour . 
I was happy with that , Bramble less so , she  is a fair weather dog !
