Off Road
We decided to take advantage of the sunshine today as Paul the Weatherman says it is going downhill again from tomorrow. We rode up to Ogden Reservoir and from there, up the track on this blip to Warley Moor, then across the Moor Road to Oxenhope. From Oxenhope we went up to, and across, Penistone Moor and stopped off at Haworth for a cuppa and to warm up. Despite the sunshine it was very cold and breezy across the moor so not much stopping for blipping sadly. From Haworth we rode up to Crossroads and then back over Harden Moor to home. If you look closely on the blip you can just see the television mast at Emley Moor on the horizon.
For fans of 'The Railway Children', here is a blip taken on the way home, of the Haworth Steam Train arriving at Oakworth station (remember the wonderful Bernard Cribbins playing Perks?) where the station scenes were filmed in the original version with Jenny Agutter playing Bobby. Nice bit of Yorkshire!
