Abundance

My veggie plot now is about a third of the size of the one at our last house but it's amazing what you can grow in a small space.
The downpours have worked wonders on the plants - nothing does it like rain water. Today we had our own lovely fresh lettuce leaves and baby radishes added to our salad.

I'm not happy about all the protests on the city streets today.
Black Lives do Matter, I'm totally behind that message but to hold protests during a pandemic is just madness.
The R level is now above one in the North West of England - it won't take much for it to rise even more. And then people will be up in arms if there's another lock down. Not to mention the lives at risk!
If we don't get the R level down I can't see us being allowed to visit family in Scotland or N. Ireland anytime soon.

I was meant to be cutting out fabrics today for patchwork but I haven't! Don't ask why - I have no excuse, I've had plenty of time! (Haha Yana :-D)

Left over curry for tea - yum followed apple strudel and ice cream. Then a film tonight - see if I can stay awake till the end!
