Cannon Hall

After the rain stopped this morning we went across to Cannon Hall, somewhere I haven't been in about 18 months because they've been doing a large re-construction of the lakes and gardens.  The workmen are still in evidence but it seems to be almost finished and they've done an amazing job;  things haven't been changed but they have been subtly improved and it's all looking wonderful.  The sun came out when we hadn't been, expecting it to and so it was a very successful trip out.
