Roman Forum

We've had a lovely relaxing time walking through the Forum, I always find it very peaceful there and it feels as if it would be so easy to step back in time.  

I've found the light here this week very harsh and contrasty but I've lacked the will to get up early and avoid it;  the other end of the day is a possibility of course but again I haven't mustered the energy.  Our friends have moved on to Florence today and Jo, Ric and Caroline have all gone home which just leaves Jack, myself and Deborah.  How time flies when we're having fun!
