And I'm addicted to buying plants.
You know you've reached your mid fifties when you walk into a garden centre and say with some authority ' I'm looking for John Innes no. 3, as if you have any Idea of who or what John Innes is, regardless of his number. As it happens I needed it to plant my newly acquired passion flower which I'm hoping will train itself around our new seating area. It looks a bit too exotic to survive my gardening skills but we're giving it a go.
When I say I'm addicted to buying plants, I'm quite serious. My current obsession is lupins. I can't leave a garden centre without buying one. There must surely be a support group out there for people with a similar addiction?
