Little bit of drama this evening when a thrush flew into the window. Luckily at an angle and not head on. It survived with nothing broken but one heck of a concussion. Once I'd checked it over we left it sitting by some plants for over an hour. Getting dark we knew we couldn't leave it exposed because of the local cats so we organised a box and the box is on top of a table which is on top of a table. It may spend the night in the box and leave at dawn which is only a few hours from now. It's not unusual for a stunned bird to stay still for almost four hours before recovering.
