Abandon ship

Will had asked us if we'd help him move out of Jesmond in Newcastle as his new digs are not ready till the end of July. 
It was fabulous to get out on a road trip even if much scrubbing and cleaning lay in wait at the other end.
Having had 2 others at various uni digs over the years we kinda have a bit of a routine and were all done in a couple of hours. I say done, I wasn't able to get all the crud off the bottom of the oven but at least you could now see through the door.
I feel sorry for uni students they've had to pay 3 months rent (I'm guessing most have gone home) and not used their accommodation, but I guess the covid situation has affected us all in one way or another. 
There is talk of more lectures on line too for the start of next term in September but nothing is set in concrete yet.
