Playing to the Public

We opened the garden for the National Garden Scheme today.  

Given the current situation the arrangements were rather different.  Limited numbers, all pre-booked and pre-paid on the NGS website so no cash to handle, fixed time slots with gaps in between, and us keeping our distance (indeed, still gardening).  However, that did see 16 people through the garden over the afternoon thus fifty quid for primarily nursing charities.

We've set up to repeat this a couple of times a week.

The blurb mentions the garden railway so one just had to get some toys out, you understand...
