Growing Up

These seven ducklings are the remainder of the original nine that were trailing around when they were very little. I think the parents have done well to bring up seven of them and they are almost full size now. They still huddle together for safety and comfort but soon followed mum to the other side of the pond plopping one at a time into the water.

Allotment watered and dinner almost ready. I'm zooming over to another camera club a bit later on to judge their last comp of the season.
