Cilgerran Castle

We only just got into this castle as the lady in charge was locking up but took pity on us; she gave us ten minutes to look around and grab a few shots. The Welsh did seem to have the knack of deterring invaders with thick walls everywhere!

We'd earlier done a clifftop walk - bay below only available if you could fly - and a visit to Llangronan Bay. The tide was coming in and there were too many people!
It was rather challenging getting the motorhome in so I was pleased to have delegated the driving to John today!

Only one more day before the homeward trek - it's all gone very quickly.
