Another one of those days

Lots of paper work and organising this morning, finalising  our Autumn production.Also had to let one of our customers know that we will no longer be supplying them due to transport costs.

I have hardly used the pickup in the last twelve months.I don't like towing it is just a chore and these large four wheel drives are no fun to drive.So the battery was flat.The battery was bolted down in a way that I hadn't seen since I had a MK1 Escort.The fastenings all corroded as  a lot of the fastenings under the bonnet are.I have been surprised just how poorly the Toyota is built and probably wouldn't buy another.

While hedge cutting I caught an armoured cable and have managed to cut the electricity off to half the nursery including the electric gates just when everybody wanted to go home.Luckily our electrician Paul can get in and fix it tomorrow.Left the supply off overnight.

Ordered a new belt tensioner, the three wheels and a new belt for the Mercedes Van this afternoon and organised it getting replaced next week.

A very full day.
