Young goldfinch on feeder in back garden

You can tell it's a young one as it doesn't have the red face colouring yet and also because it let me come very close without flinching, whereas the adults don't let quite as near.
On the extra photos we have a regular visitor to our garden and this robin has a beak problem - it looks like a bit of string stuck around its upper beak - but it doesn't affect it feeding as it seems fine and I've seen it open its beak wide when it feeds.
