Chocolate Crinkles

A good, full day. A few more errands than usual, with a couple cookie deliveries, a visit with friend Swetha, and a walk with cousin Shelley. It was cloudless and gloriously blue out, without the humidity that can plague us here. I didn't do any work outside, so am aiming to do some top jobs in the garden tomorrow morning before it heats back up.

W. worked at his office today, for the sole reason that he's missed biking. He's accustomed to commuting by bike twice a week or so, one-way (it's 35 miles), and says it was a very pleasant ride this morning. Strange with him being away from the house though (without being out of town). Probably most of us have some sort of instinctive feelers about where our people are, and these have kicked in extra for me this spring.
