Drinkwater......

Months ago when lockdown first started, we came across the Pen and the Cob building a nest.
We all watched in fascination and visited most days, quietly observing.
We fed them lettuce and grapes ( cut) and they appeared to welcome our visits
Eventually the eggs hatched and two became six. There are earlier pics / blips in my journal. We've not visited for just over a week , as I'm back in work full time. After tea , I decided,  we could go for a quick walk ( it turned into three hrs!) There's now only two Cynets so not sure whats happened to them ( probably predated) the remaining two look a good size , so will hopefully make it. Its hard rearing young in the wild.
