long and short of it

8:30pm and taking a refreshment break from work.

Cycled 20miles into work this morning. Was mostly good. Then Mrs theWeir iMessaged me to say I'd left my wallet at home. No wallet = no train ticket = cycling home.

Oh well, into the day at work.

Which was bananas.

Jumped on the bike and headed for home, into the wind and the bottom bracket on the bike finally gave up. Totally knackered.

But I did make it home.

And I will enjoy the stout and the empire while I try and get the workload under something close to manageable.
