Likin' the Lichen

After a lovely sunny start, the day has turned steadily cloudier. The useful rain didn't arrive till very late afternoon, but is very welcome to the garden. At that point we drove to Lidl and Sainsbugs to do a top-up shop of, mainly, fruit and veg.

Only the other day I was saying how I'd not seen a jay for years. Then, on the way home, I saw not only one, but three! No photos, but it was great to see them. (One was jay-walking across the road, silly bird!)

My blip is of lichen on a wooden bench in the grounds of Sainsburys by the carpark. I'm guessing it's never used, but I did like the lichen!
