The amazing arch...
on this eighteenth century bridge reveals such craftsmanship! The height has been vindicated by withstanding several spates. It was a Wade road originally and is now part of a long distance cycle track from Carlisle to Inverness A chilly morning down here, but found the Kidney Vetch I was looking for and Thyme, Sandpipers, Dippers, Willow Warblers and a beautiful patch of Mountain Everlasting. At home, the Woodpecker chick was sent to forage at the feeder on its own and a baby squirrel appeared for the first time. Lovely to see them.
