Tortoiseshell

There were quite a few of these tortoiseshells out on the rape but no other butterflies. The packing and school delivery were done quickly today and were followed by a walk around the fields.  Two of the schoolchildren had written thank you cards. I spent the rest of the day pottering in the garden and with my book.
