Flower Friday: Blooming

A little update on how the Flame Tree is doing on the living room side now. The red is so vibrant, it's actually quite tricky to capture it! What's really amazing this year is the Frangipani tree in the distance. As the garden is closed, no-one can get to it to pick off the flowers. :)

We were joined by Graze for the service. It was Communion today, being the first Friday of the month. Graze stayed on a bit to chat, which is always nice. I have a deadline to find and scan as many old pictures of Holy Trinity Church by tomorrow, but there is something else happening at 3 pm, so I'd rather get it all done today. So, that's what I did for the rest of the day. I came across loads of family pictures that I want to scan, so had to stay focussed on the job at hand.

The trouble with these old pictures is that some of them are faded and need major tweaking. That takes a bit of time. They also need to be named as I won't be sitting with the person who is compiling the book. It would have been great to go out for a drive, but that will have to wait until tomorrow. GK over and out.
