Remembering Warakurna

On my morning walk I listened to a review of a documentary film, Our Law. The film is about a successful Indigenous controlled policing program at a remote Aboriginal community, Warakurna in Western Australia. In these troubled days it was inspiring to hear such a positive story.

Warakurna is on the Great Central Road, a 1100km unsealed road between Yulara and Laverton, which we travelled in 2010. The photos show our caravan, Daisy 2, on her epic journey.
